Who We Are |
The King’s College London’s Regional Security Research Centre (RSRC) is a multidisciplinary group, based in the Defence Studies Department, that brings together scholars and practitioners with an interest in area studies, regional security issues, and organisations. It seeks to unite staff and research students across both King’s and the Defence Academy, including King’s Defence Studies Department (DSD, Shrivenham), War Studies, UK Staff College, the Development, Concepts and Doctrine Centre (DCDC), and the School of Languages. The group contains scholars in politics, international relations, and history with specific regional expertise, in-depth knowledge and understanding of specific countries and regions, often with language skills too, as well as those who focus on those organisations such as NATO, which tackle regional security issues.
The website is administered by Dr Ben Kienzle. The content of this website does not represent necessarily the views of King’s College London, the UK Ministry of Defence, or the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom. |
Funding
|
The website is part of a project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council’s The UK in a Changing Europe initiative.
The initiative promotes rigorous, high-quality and independent research into the complex and ever changing relationship between the UK and the European Union (EU). It provides an authoritative, non-partisan and impartial reference point for those looking for information, insights, and analysis about UK-EU relations that stands aside from the politics surrounding the debate. |
